1. Konu: Should / Shouldn't

Should tavsiye vermek için kullanılır. Türkçesi genellikle “-meli / -malı”dır. Shouldn't ise “yapmamalı” anlamı verir.

Subject + should / shouldn't + verb 1

Should = iyi fikir

  • You should study for the exam.
  • He should apologize to his friend.
  • They should be respectful.

Shouldn't = kötü fikir

  • You shouldn't lie to your friends.
  • She shouldn't be selfish.
  • He shouldn't take risks without training.

Open Your Heart tipi metinlerde sonuç çıkarma

Bir metinde geçmişte bir olay anlatılırsa, olayın sonucunu cümlelerden bulursun. Örnek:

Mert forgot his best friend's birthday. His friend looked sad and did not talk to him after school.

Conclusion: Mert's friend was hurt. Mert should apologize.
